Jonah A. Flynn
Founder & Trial Attorney

Jonah A. Flynn is the founder of Flynn Law Firm and a trial lawyer who has built his career fighting for people harmed by the negligence of others. Admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 2002 and named a Georgia Super Lawyers “Rising Star” from 2010 through 2012, Jonah has recovered millions for clients in catastrophic injury, burn and explosion, product-liability, trucking, and wage-and-hour cases. He has helped people from all walks of life navigate the insurance-claims system and the litigation process, handling injury cases large and small for those harmed by the carelessness of others.
Jonah’s parents divorced when he was three, and he was raised by a single mother. The financial reality of a single-parent household meant Jonah took on odd and summer jobs starting at age 12, and part-time work through high school, college, and law school. His work ethic, tenacity, and empathy come directly from learning the value of hard work as an adolescent.
Early in his career, Jonah worked for a large corporate-defense firm with ten offices and more than 100 lawyers across the country, defending insurance companies and corporations in catastrophic-injury and product-liability claims. As a defense lawyer he saw firsthand how insurance companies bully injured people—usually harmed through no fault of their own—and how plaintiffs’ lawyers routinely undervalued cases. It became clear his worldview didn’t match that of corporate America, and he resolved to use his talent and work ethic for the people on the other side. In August 2008—with a small-business loan from a community bank, a young child at home, and just months before the global financial collapse—Jonah opened Flynn Law Firm.
More than seventeen years later, Jonah has recovered millions for clients catastrophically injured by the carelessness or negligence of others. He handles auto, trucking, and motorcycle cases with attention to detail and tenacity, securing substantial recoveries for the injured. He hires the best experts and begins developing liability the moment he is retained—through prompt scene investigations and witness interviews—an approach that has repeatedly produced strong results.
Jonah has handled burn-injury and product-liability cases coast to coast, developing creative design-defect and failure-to-warn theories against manufacturers and retailers. In his wage-and-hour practice, he has secured substantial recoveries for victims of wage and tip theft, routinely representing restaurant and nightclub workers in tip-theft and overtime cases under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Jonah is a tireless advocate for his clients. He believes there is no substitute for hard work, and invests whatever time, money, and effort each case requires to obtain a just result. He takes pride in approaching every client with compassion and empathy, is always available for a phone call, and believes clear communication between lawyer and client is essential to the best outcome.
Jonah earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin and his law degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2002, where he was a member of the Journal of National Security Law. An avid skier and traveler, when not practicing law he spends time in the mountains with his family.
